For interior designers & architects

Rugs made from your render, sketch or reference.

Send us a visualisation of the room and the sizes. We develop the rug design, match the colours and make it by hand: hand-knotted, handloom or hand-tufted, including wall-to-wall and made-to-measure pieces from your DWG. Delivered to project sites in Europe, the Gulf, the USA and Canada.

What we make

Every rug starts from a specific project.

Bespoke rugs

Your design, colours and size. We prepare the technical drawing, colour references and a strike-off before production.

Wall-to-wall

Fitted to the room from DWG drawings, with allowances calculated for a precise final size. Large and complex floor plans are measured on site.

Made-to-measure shapes

Irregular contours, curved edges and zoned floors, including pieces wider than 4 m woven on looms set up for that rug.

Selected work

Made for projects, finished by hand.

Our rugs go straight from the workshop to the site, so most of what we can show is the rug itself, photographed before it ships.

One project, step by step

Two children's rooms in one residence. Hand-knotted silk rugs, 200 × 300 cm, with the pattern raised 1 mm above the ground.

From silk wallpaper to a rug

The interior scheme had a silk wallpaper. We interpreted its design in the rug, redrawn to the rug's size and matched in colour.

Why work with us

One contact. Workshops proven over ten years.

India and Nepal have thousands of small rug makers, and quality and lead times vary from one to the next. Going direct can look cheaper until a strike-off is wrong or a delivery date slips on a live project.

One person for the whole project

You deal with one specialist from the first costing to delivery on site. No briefing several workshops, no chasing replies across time zones.

Workshops we know

We work with a small group of workshops tested over ten years and more than 300 projects. Each rug goes to the one that does that technique best.

Quality and dates under control

We check colours, strike-offs and finished rugs before they ship, and keep the schedule in line with your installation date.

Texture & colour

Every colour approved before weaving.

Colours are matched to your interior scheme and approved on yarn poms. Pile height, carving and the mix of matte wool and silk-like fibres are agreed on samples. Sample sets are kept in Warsaw, Munich, Lugano and Sofia. Request a sample set.

From the loom

Made by hand in Nepal, India and China.

Each project goes to the workshop that does that technique best. We follow it through dyeing, weaving, carving and finishing.

Contract projects

Hotels, offices, residences and yachts.

Fire certification

For public and commercial spaces, rugs and wall-to-wall coverings are tested to your project's required class, so you have the documents the authority or fit-out contractor asks for.

Standards we work to

Tell us the class you need: EN 13501-1 floor covering classes (e.g. Cfl-s1, Bfl-s1) in Europe, the IMO FTP Code for yachts, or local requirements in the Gulf.

Built for traffic

Wool is naturally slow to ignite and self-extinguishing. We combine it with FR treatment, suitable backing and density chosen for heavy use in corridors, lobbies and suites.

Outdoor

Terraces, pool decks and yachts.

Hand-knotted PET

Our outdoor rugs are hand-knotted from PET yarn. They look and feel like a wool rug made for indoors, but are made to live outside.

Sisal and jute

Natural plant fibres for covered terraces, verandas and transitional spaces between inside and out.

One design, inside and out

Use the same pattern and colours on the terrace as in the living room, so the scheme carries through.

What changes what

  • More knots per m²Finer detail and sharper lines, longer production, higher price.
  • Silk and silk-like fibresSheen and a softer hand. Wool gives a matte, hard-wearing surface.
  • Hand-tuftedFaster and more affordable. A good choice for plain rugs and larger quantities.
  • HandloomFlat, loop or textured surfaces at a mid price.
  • Hand-knottedThe most detailed and the longest-lasting.
  • Linen and nettleA dry, natural texture with a slubby, handmade look.
  • Hand-knotted PETMade for outdoors, yet looks and feels like a wool indoor rug.

Every quote is for the whole project, delivered to the site: production, shipping and customs in one price. It depends on the number of rugs, sizes, technique and destination, so we price each project individually.

Process

From brief to installation.

  1. You send a sketch, mood or DWG with the project location.

  2. We advise on technique and materials and send a costing.

  3. Samples and a strike-off are approved before weaving starts.

  4. The rugs are made, inspected and shipped directly to Europe, the Gulf, the USA or Canada, delivered to the site with customs clearance handled.
